Opens a test laoratory

The new European lab will increase Federal-Mogul Motorparts’ test capabilities and support the development of new products

Federal-Mogul Motorparts, a division of Federal-Mogul Holdings Corporation (NASDAQ: FDML), today announced the opening of its test laboratory for sealing, engine, filters and chassis components. The new facility is the latest investment by the aftermarket supplier and demonstrates its dedication to providing high-quality products to its customers.

The laboratory based in Kontich, Belgium, supports the company’s global test facilities, undertaking engineering, product validation, quality control and competitive benchmarking. This will provide more than 5,000 additional test hours per annum, enabling its sealing, engine, filters and chassis component designs to be tested to the highest standards.
