David East is appointed General Sales Manager UK and Ireland

Federal-Mogul has appointed David East as General Sales Manager UK and Ireland. He will have direct responsibility for Federal-Mogul’s national team of regional sales managers. The role of the former Unipart General Manager will be to coach, support and develop the team and drive sales in line with Federal-Mogul’s goals.

East has been working in the automotive industry for the last 28 years and will bring his vast market and industry expertise to Federal-Mogul. Coming from the General Manager position at Unipart, where he was responsible for the company’s biggest region, he will now support Federal-Mogul’s drive for profitable sustainable growth.

“The important thing is not to boost sales in spikes but to understand and develop sales trends to provide a profit growth that is sustainable for Federal-Mogul,” said East. “There are lots of experienced people within Federal-Mogul and I hope my background will bring something new to the table and provide a different perspective that will help the whole team to develop. There is a tremendous energy in the company and I am excited to take on my next challenge.”

East started his role as General Sales Manager at Federal-Mogul on May 1st. His previous experience gained through his career will be of particular benefit to the company as it looks to grow within the UK and Ireland.
