GOLDEN TROPHY 2013 FOR THE ECO-FRICTION BRAKE PADS

Ferodo Eco-Friction®, the ecological brake pads with low and zero copper, won the Golden Trophy of the International Grand Prix of Automotive Innovation in the French fair Equip

Elected among hundreds of qualitative products and services, the Eco-Friction® brake pads of Federal-Mogul, captured the attention of the jury, composed of 80 journalists and international parts specialists from 20 countries, for its innovative technology and environmental friendly product.

This innovation anticipates future European and global legislations introduced to reduce the content of copper in brake pads.

150 R&D technicians helped engineer the pad with up to 25 different materials.The new low and zero copper brake pads were formulated after a very challenging 5 years of research, carefully testing and profiling over 1,500 raw materials.
