Autoparts UK teamed up with Fram® Filters

Autoparts UK teamed up with Fram® Filters recently to celebrate the rollout of its Renault Twizy fleet of all-electric vehicles.
 
The parts distributor and filter supplier ran a competition, giving one lucky customer the chance to win a Fram® branded Kinder 49cc quad bike worth more than £299 if they correctly guessed how many Fram® filters were in the Twizy.

Skelmersdale Tyre Services’ Vic Wharton was the winner with the most accurate guess. The independent garage based in Skelmersdale, Lancashire, has been established for over 20 years.

Autoparts UK has invested in a new environmentally-friendly fleet of all electric Renault Twizy’s, as part of a drive to reduce its carbon footprint. The vehicles mainly operate from the company’s branches in Glasgow & Dundee, delivering a rapid deployment of parts.

The Renault Twizy is a twin-seater car that is powered by a 17bhp electric motor. The vehicle’s battery can be recharged by plugging into any 220V power source.
