Aluminium Or Steel To Match OE
Traffic calming schemes such as speed humps and ramps and the generally poor condition of the UK road network, which is characterised by endless potholes, all contribute to the growing number of Oil Sumps that have been damaged by impact with this kind of obstacle. The subsequent corrosion that is caused by impact damage to the protective finish can compound the problem and the combined result is a substantial increase in the occurrence of Oil Sump replacement.
As a reliable aftermarket solution to this increasing need, First Line has introduced a premium quality range of Oil Sumps and Sump Plugs, manufactured to original equipment (OE) specification and therefore ideally suited to satisfy this growing demand.
The range already consists of 10 part numbers, which cater for the most common vehicles and includes the aluminium sump for the VAG 1.9TDI, both with and without the oil sensor provision, and the Fiat 500/Vauxhall Corsa 1.3TD.
The use of aluminium or steel is dependent on the OE fitment, with all steel sumps having a powder coating, which provides the extra resistance needed against corrosion and ensures the longevity of the component. In addition, all First Line Oil Sumps include a pre-fitted Sump Plug and are gasket free, although separate Sump Plugs are available in isolation if needs be.
