VALEO WIPER MOTOR
FPS has added 19 part numbers to its range of Valeo front and rear wiper motors, bringing the total number of references available to 105.
The replacement market for wiper motors represents a growing opportunity for motor factors. Valeo, as a leading OE wiper system provider, has supplied one in three cars in Europe with a wiper motor.
More than 35 vehicle applications are covered by the range extension and include vehicles such as Ford Transit (00>), Mercedes Vito (03>), Peugeot 307 (02>) and Peugeot 207 (07>) along with many more.

FILTERING OUT FAILURE: DPFs are now part of MOTs
The MOT test has just added another criteria. Effective this month, it is a legal requirement for all cars originally fitted with Diesel Particulate Filters (DPF) to have one present within the exhaust system. If the DPF has been removed, the result will be a failed MOT and a vehicle illegal for road use.
It will be an offence under the Road Vehicles (Construction and Use) Regulations (Regulation 61a(3)) to use a vehicle which has been modifi ed in such a way that it no longer complies with the air pollutant emissions standards that it was designed to meet.

LUCAS LIGHTING
FPS is happy to announce a range expansion of 132 new additions to the already extensive Lucas lighting and mirror range.

The Lucas lighting range currently provides approximately 90% coverage of the UK vehicle parc.
With the new headlamp applications (including Citroen DS3 2010>, Kia Picanto headlamp 2010>, and VW Passat Saloon headlamp 2010>), we will see this rise even higher.
New to range mirror glass, mirror covers, fog lamps and signal lamps are available for many of the most popular applications. Furthermore, there are 8 new daytime running lamps – which are legally required on all cars manufactured after February 2011!

EXHAUSTS ADDED TO RANGE
FPS is pleased to announce that it has broadened its exhaust offering by introducing 85 parts to fill gaps in the current range. The range includes front, centre and rear pipes, along with diesel particulate filters.
