Fuel Parts UK says it has everything in place for the changes due to take place in June 2009, following the introduction of Type Approval on Catalytic Converters.

The Bromsgrove-based company has been making changes for over twelve months to ensure they properly prepared, when the new legislation is made law. This started in Feb 2008 with the introduction of their Premium Range of Cats, which are 100% Type Approved to ECE Regulation 103. Premium cats are packed in a bright new green livery, displaying gold quality seals. Each cat will contain a fitting kit, where available, and a copy of the official ECE R103 approval certificate, specific to that part and the individual vehicle it has been approved for.

Both field sales and sales office staff have been trained and fully understand the new legislation. They will be well equipped to help customers make decisions on the correct parts they need to order and stock, to comply with the new laws. Telephone sales highlight the new legal requirements to all callers and encourage them to conform with Type Approval.

Fuel Parts UK’s Product Development dept. have ensured that the 1,000+ part numbers of Type Approved product they have, are correctly catalogued and on the shelf today, ready for next day delivery. Additional part numbers are being added weekly to offer the most comprehensive range of approved converters from one source.
 
Together FPUK’s warehouse and distribution departments have been responsible for generating new locations and space for Type Approved product and are already seeing increases in demand from existing and new customers.
