Prestone announces six-figure sponsorship deal

Prestone, maker of the No.1 coolant/antifreeze in the US, has announced its sponsorship of the 2017 season of the MSA British Rally Championship; motorsport’s most extreme and challenging discipline.

The Prestone MSA British Rally Championship begins in March, and will see Prestone take ownership of the entire series, sponsorship of TV coverage on Channel 4, plus brand visibility across all car sun strips, doors, podiums and the event website - www.msabrc.com

Prestone, which will be supplying team cars with coolant and screen wash, has also secured image, video and TV footage rights across the season, alongside hospitality sponsorship and sampling activity at the British round of the FIA World Rally Championship.

Head of Marketing for Prestone, Claire Fenton, said; “We are incredibly excited to be named as the title partner for the British Rally Championship. The drivers and cars involved in the competition literally ‘Excel in Extremes’, just like Prestone, battling through the elements and pushing to the very limit".

We can’t wait to get in among the crowds, under the skin of the rally fans, and under the bonnet of some of the world’s most extreme rallying machines.”

Prestone has formally announced its six-figure investment in the partnership at the Autosport Show at Birmingham’s NEC on January 12 where a fully-branded team car was unveiled ahead of a Q&A session with BRC and Prestone representatives.
