Independent Automotive Aftermarket Federation (IAAF) has appointed Tina Patel as its new financial coordinator, bringing a wealth of experience from within the financial sector to the team.

Working at IAAF’s head office in Castle Bromwich, West Midlands, Patel has more than twelve years’ experience in the finance and banking industry across areas such as Life & Pension, Global Custody, Asset Management and Retail Banking.

Patel said: “I am delighted to be part of this great team as there is a real sense of team spirit here at IAAF. I aim to be as efficient and proactive as possible with all our members and look forward to working alongside them and building solid relationships.”

In her new role, Patel will be responsible for undertaking the accountancy function as required by IAAF, including carrying out financial reporting.

It supplies members with useful content and expertise relevant to the running of a successful, aftermarket business, along with excellent networking opportunities.

Wendy Williamson, IAAF chief executive, said: “It’s a pleasure to welcome someone with Tina’s experience to our team and we’re positive that her appointment will have a beneficial impact on the federation.”
