As the pace of the IAAF's progress continues to escalate, the new personnel structure throughout the IAAF has now been put in place.
Tony Sackett, IAAF's President explained: "It was important to make sure we had the right people on board and I'm delighted that everything we wanted has fallen into place so well."
The main positions are: The roles of President IAAF and Chairman IAAF-D (distributors) go to Tony Sackett. Chairman IAAF-G (garages) is Jonas Zambakides who has also become a director of the IAAF and Chairman IAAF-L (lobbying) is Quintin Cornforth.
The two responsibilities of Director IAAF Services and Sector Specialist - Distribution, belong to Brian Spratt and the position of Sector Specialist - Garages is with Mike Owen.
Mike Owen (IAAF-G) said: "We are very excited about the uptake of IAAF-G since we announced its launch, only a matter of months ago and we have been inundated with enquiries from the independent garage market. The IAAF-G 'dream team' will be a formidable one and our expectations remain as positive as ever."
Brian Spratt continues to use his expertise with the IAAF-D (formerly the ADF) and also has the day-to-day responsibility to make sure his team keeps the whole IAAF's group administration services running smoothly.
Quintin Cornforth will continue to champion the IAAF's Lobbying section and Tony Sackett added, "I can't think of a better person to be responsible for taking the lobbying lead for the automotive aftermarket than Quintin. His reputation speaks for itself and what we now have in place for the automotive aftermarket, through the IAAF, is a formidable group of people who genuinely care and have the expertise to maintain and enhance the independent aftermarket's future."
