Female staff from KYB UK are putting their best feet forward to raise cash to fight cancer.

A five-strong team from KYB UK – the leading supplier of shock absorbers, coil springs and suspension mounting kits – are to take part in Cancer Research UK's Race for Life event on Sunday, June 10.

It is the fifth year that a team from KYB UK has entered the event which is being held at Leigh in Greater Manchester.

Sue Clough, Customer Service Manager, KYB UK, who is one of the team members, said: “The KYB girls are again entering a team into the Race for Life. This is the fifth year we’ve done it and we would really value your support. We are the first to admit that we’re not the fittest ladies in the world, so this 5k run really is a genuine challenge for us.

“We have all been touched by cancer in some way, either ourselves or through someone we know, so it’s all the more important that we all help to raise money to continue the fight against this disease."

The KYB UK team comprises: Sue; Vicky Smith, Customer Service Supervisor; Customer Service Advisors Louise Hulme, Sarah Lappin and Anna Walker; plus Finance Assistant Diane Atherton. In addition, Louise’s eight-year-old son Ben is also planning to take part in the event for the second time.
