In May 2012, the construction of the new manufacturing facility began. The budget is the largest in the 25 year history of the company, estimated at almost 20 million EUR. The factory will significantly increase the current production capacity and will be located in Budzyn (POLAND), close to the national road No.11.
Placed just 2 miles away from the current factory, the project involves the construction of a manufacturing plant and warehouse space, along with new office buildings, giving a total usable area of 18 969 square metres. It will be the most modern production facility of brake pads and linings in central Europe, equipped with fully automated production lines for consistently high quality manufacturing.
"We have noticed in recent years that customers do not want very low-cost poor quality parts, they also do not want to have the very expensive and overvalued products of renowned - so-called "premium brands", "- said the head of the sales department of Lumag, Krzysztof Żywanowski
He continued:
"The new investment at Lumag is the response to a rapidly growing need for friction materials, and for drivers and mechanics that always look for the best product. This must be a very good quality, tested product, manufactured in Europe and sold in at an affordable price. This is Lumag and Breck."
We expect to start production in the new facility in August 2013.
