A huge success

Manbat, the founding battery distribution business within the ECOBAT Technologies Group, was a massive success at Automechanika Birmingham. With a constant crowd of visitors around the impressive stand at 9K21, the depth of the comprehensive range was evident, with high quality batteries and their related accessories and installation tools also present.

The renowned company was also included in the seminar programme, where National Sales Manager, Dave Morgan and Business Development Manager, John Bentley gave a presentation explaining how the developments in battery technology have directly impacted the technician, as the days of a five minute battery change has gone.

The seminar explained that the correct battery is now imperative, the fitting process can take several hours and the battery needs to be ‘introduced’ into the vehicle’s control systems or drivers could be left stranded.

Manbat’s Marketing Manager, Myles Pemberton said: “The best thing about exhibiting at Automechanika Birmingham were the opportunities we received because everyone was there and everyone was open to talking business and creating new business and relationships. We certainly saw a lot of people interested in our stand because we have so many great brands such as Numax, Lucas and US Batteries and people are interested in our company because we’re also part of Ecobat, the world’s leading producer and recycler of lead, there were so many different connections and people to meet, it was really exciting.”
