auction off converted tractor
The professionally converted tractor from the Europewide MANN-FILTER project “For all vehicle lovers“ can now be auctioned off.
MANN-FILTER presented the result of its conversion campaign at an exclusive unveiling in the halls of the Classic Remise in Berlin.
“I’m particularly delighted that a tractor won the voting because it’s not every day that you convert a vehicle like that,” says TV presenter and automotive mechatronics technician Lina Van de Mars, who also compered the event.
“We’ve created an exceptional one-off vehicle with fantastic special functions and are extremely proud to now be able to present this party machine. “The Classic-Remise with its impressive collection of vintage and collector’s vehicles provides the perfect setting for the unveiling of our converted tractor. Our automotive experts Lina Van de Mars and Jo Scholz have done a great job in recent months. Now, we’re looking forward to finding a new owner,” says Jörg Engels, Director Brand Management Automotive Aftermarket MANN+HUMMEL.
The Online Charity Auction of the MANN-FILTER campaign will take place from June 13 to 27. Interested parties, whether in Germany or internationally, can place their bids at netbid under http://tinyurl.com/h468xhf. Handover of the tractor to the highest bidder and the donation to UNICEF, the United Nations Children’s Fund, is planned to take place in mid-July in Ludwigsburg.
In the context of the MANN-FILTER campaign “For all vehicle lovers”, the participants were able to vote on which of four commercial vehicles they wanted to have converted. Automotive professionals Lina Van de Mars and Jo Scholz allowed viewers to look over their shoulders during the conversion work. The cross-media campaign was conducted on MANN-FILTER’s social-media and online channels.
