United Aftermarket Network (UAN) has announced that Gayle Lock has been promoted to the newly created position of Marketing Manager.

Gayle, who joined UAN in 2009, worked previously in the area of marketing support, helping to develop programmes and initiatives for one of the UK’s most innovative automotive aftermarket buying groups.

Gayle, who is currently studying for her Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) Certificate in Professional Marketing, has grown with the buying group, which recently celebrated its first decade in business.
“I am excited and thrilled to be given this opportunity” said Gayle. “Our business model is so right for the automotive aftermarket now, and I will be able to develop, with the UAN team, profitable marketing support programmes for our members and suppliers.”

Commenting on Gayle’s promotion UAN Director, Andrew Dickinson said, “For the first time UAN, its distributors and suppliers has a dedicated marketing manager in place to help provide for the needs and requirements of our growing membership and supplier base. Gayle has already introduced a number of major improvements and enhancements to our marketing activity.”
