Since the introduction of Cat Type Approval Legislation on 13th August 2009, leading cat manufacturer Bosal has extended their range of Type Approved references by over 50.

Bosal was the first manufacturer to launch a range of Type Approved catalytic converters in the UK over 25 years ago. Today this is the Companies fastest growing product range comprising over 850 direct fit applications for both petrol & diesel engined vehicles including those with On Board Diagnostics (OBDII). And the range is set to continue its growth.

Under new regulations which came into force on 13th August 2009, all Catalytic Converters fitted as replacement units to cars and light commercial vehicles registered on or after 1st March 2001 must be type approved. Bosal’s Type Approved catalytic converters are designed to OE standards and offer benefits including increased fuel efficiency, cleaner emissions, better engine performance, and longer replacement intervals.
