Search by registration with TRW'S app

You can now search for parts by unique vehicle identifier or VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) in an updated version of the ‘TRW Part Finder app’. Simply go to menu and click on ‘Search via Vehicle’.

TRW want their digital tools to be as user friendly as possible. And now any garage, distributor or end user can locate the TRW parts they need quickly, easily and on the move.

In addition, they now offer country specific searches. For example: in Germany, users can find parts by inputting the individual vehicle’s unique seven digit Kraftfahrtbundesamt (KBA). In France, ditto by searching using the SIV (Système d'Immatriculation des Véhicules) number. And in the UK and Ireland, users can search via the registration plate.

Launched in February 2015, the ‘TRW Part Finder app’ is available for free download from both the App Store and Google Play Store.

The App is just one of the digital tools on offer from TRW to make customers lives easier. As well as utilising ‘Tecidentify’ to digitally verify the authenticity of their products, they offer an integrated catalogue and free online technical resource, ‘Tech Corner’. Both launched on trwaftermarket.com in 2014.
