Peninsula is reminding UAN distributors that the Government have announced several important changes taking place to employment legislation in the next 12 months. 1. In October, there are changes to the entitlements to non-pay benefits during Maternity leave and, of course, increases to the minimum wage. 2. In April 2009, the entitlement to statutory holidays will increase and it is also expected that the Statutory Dispute Resolution Procedure will be repealed and replaced. 3. Furthermore, the right to request flexible working may well be extended to parents of children under the age of 16.
