Quinton Hazell has launched Q-PID Live! an online version of its Q-PID CD, which allows users to look-up QH parts using a vehicle's VRM or Vin details. Q-PID Live! is free to download and use, but if distributors choose to use it with the VRM or VIN lookup there is a charge for each look up (tokens can be purchased via the website). If users decide not to purchase VRM Tokens then they can still use Q-PID Live! Free of Charge to manually search for Quinton Hazell parts and Cross References provided they have access to the product, make, model, engine & year. Derek Lees, QH Technical Training & Services Manager, said: "Our customers need to know as soon as we have new to range, supersessions or withdrawals and by linking into our live database these are available immediately. Q-PID Live! operates seamlessly on Windows, Mac and Linux and is under 1MB when installed and providing the user has internet connection they will be able to communicate with Q-PID LIVE! 24 hours a day." All applications are fully searchable via the VRM or by product, make, model, engine & year as well as OE and competitors cross reference look up. There is also a buyers guide which provides the user with a pictorial reference along with technical data. To download Q-PID Live! simply visit www.qh.com.
