Core Acceptance Criteria — Starter Motors and Alternators
The old core inspection is a visual / mechanical process and does not require the core inspector to dismantle the part in any way.
The core must be completely removed from the box during inspection and the whole unit examined.
Cores returned for exchange credit should be of the same application type as that ordered, and returned in the original packaging.
Units which are mechanically damaged or are in such condition that they cannot be remanufactured should not be accepted.
Examples of acceptable and non acceptable standards are shown on Remy's Core Acceptance Criteria — Starter Motors and Alternators please contact Remy for your copy.
