Raising money to support Brain Tumour Reasearch

Russell Clarke from JE Clarke is embarking on 1,300km Motorcycling ride through India to raise money to help fund the research into Brain Tumours.

Russell lost his father Chris Clarke to a Brain Tumour back in 2003. Chris had a great spirit of adventure and fun which he has passed on to Russell. Russell comments " I'm really excited to be going on this trip in memory of my dad whilst at the same time helping to raise awareness of this terrible devastating disease and raise money for Brain Tumour Research".

Brain Tumour Research is woefully underfunded and treatments lag seriously behind other cancer’s. Too many people are being faced with the devastating diagnosis each year, brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer and five-year survival remains low at just 19.8%.

Russell comments "This challenging ride through will take us through the twists and turns of the Himalayan foothills and will certainly be no easy journey. The ride on old Royal Enfield Bullets will take us across varied terrain from off road tracks and trails to the bustling city streets of Delhi."

If you would like to help Russell meet his target of £3000 please donate via his just giving page -www.justgiving.com/Russell-Clarke7 or you can contact him directly at [email protected].

Russell would like to send his thanks in advance for your support, all donations are greatly appreciated.
