It is with deep personal regret that I inform you of the death of John Clark who passed away peacefully in hospital on Tuesday 11th March 2014 with his family beside him. Each of us not only grieves at the passing of a tremendous individual but also for the loss his family suffers, John will be extremely sorely missed by his family, friends, colleagues and anyone who knew him through his extended network of business contacts.
John Clark was an icon of the motor industry and a person loved and highly regarded by all of his staff and the many friends and colleagues lucky enough to have met such a kind and considerate gentleman.
John’s family have been overwhelmed by the volume of condolence messages received to date again further endorsement of John’s high regard amongst his many friends and business acquaintances globally. We have lost a very dear friend and ambassador of the business, our grief and confusion at this time is little compared to what John’s family must be feeling and our hearts and prayers go out to them.
John expressed his desire to have contributions made to Cancer Research UK or BEN- The Automotive Industry Charity in lieu of flowers; donations can be made on the Just Giving Website by clicking on the following links:
