Sovereign Rotating Machines has entered the commercial vehicle (CV) parts aftermarket with the launch of a range of rotating electrics, sold under the WPS World Power Systems brand.
The range of brand new starter motors and alternators features more than 1300 references for CV, agricultural and industrial applications including DAF, Iveco, Man, Mercedes, Renault and Volvo.
With only 30 references required to cover 80 percent of the CV vehicle parc, the breadth of product available from Sovereign is even more impressive.
The new units have been manufactured by Sovereign’s company partner WAIglobal, which is a world leader in the manufacture of automotive products.
As part of the manufacturing process – that adheres to TS 16949, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 quality standards – all starter motors and alternators feature a premium grade WBD bearing in order to provide maximum life and deliver consistent electrical and mechanical performance.
Richard Welland, Sovereign Rotating Machines managing director, said: “This is a major launch for the CV market and one that will cement the position of the WPS brand in the UK. CV parts distributors and installers now have access to a new, premium brand of products, which are manufactured to the highest standards and available at a very competitive price.”
All units come complete with a digital test report, supported further by Sovereign’s 24month national warranty from fitment. A full catalogue with comprehensive cross-referencing is also now available.
