Sales up 25 percent in 2013 as new products and services boost remanufacturer

Sales at Sovereign Rotating Machines are currently up more than 25 percent so far in 2013 against the same period last year (Jan – Mar 2012), as the UK’s leading auto electrical components supplier continues to enhance its products and services available to customers.

The increase in sales is as a result of Sovereign’s investment in its business to deliver market-leading support to customers. This includes: Product range reviews, the introduction of a WPS branded powersports and commercial vehicle product range in partnership with WAIglobal and, the adverse weather conditions particularly in the first three months of 2013.

The company has also invested more resources into training to avoid unnecessary returns and simplified its order¬ing process by going paperless. Customers are now able to send and receive orders by email and check stock and core availability, both of which enable customers to have instant access to the widest range of rotating electrics’ products.

Richard Welland, Sovereign Rotating Machines, managing director, said: “Our relationship with WAIglobal continues to add scope to our UK and European offering and we’re able to demonstrate the perfect combination of high quality products and industry leading customer service.

“The flexibility of working with Sovereign has also meant that we’ve been able to seamlessly introduce a new WPS brand along with products and services that have not only brought about new customers, but opened up new revenue streams for existing ones.”
