The Pensions Regulator has issued employers with penalty fines ...

The Pensions Regulator (TPR) has issued its first three penalty notices regulations to firms breaking auto-enrolment regulations for auto-enrolment non-compliance.
Three firms have been hit with fixed penalties of £400+163 notices have been issued by The Pensions Regulator between July and September 2014.
This compares to just 14 notices since the start of auto-enrolment law in October 2012 to July this year.
Over 33,000 firms have already begun enrolling, with a further 1.25 million due to stage over the next three years.

TPR doesn't expect it to stop there either, as the number of employers enrolling their staff increases, TPR "expects to see the number of times they need to use their powers increase" , according to the governing body's Executive Director for auto-enrolment, Charles Counsell. He continues: "As we deal with smaller employers, we will see more who, despite our message to prepare early, leave it too late or do not comply at all. This type of non-compliance is not acceptable."

Do you know YOUR Auto-Enrolment Staging Date?
