VOTED NUMBER TWO BY GERMAN MOTORCYCLE MAGAZINE MOTORRAD

The TRW-Lucas brand has been awarded second place in the braking category of ‘Best Brand 2014’, by the readers of German motorcycle magazine, MOTORRAD.

With 41.8 percent of the 2014 vote, this news means that TRW-Lucas brake pads have achieved more than 40 per cent in the braking category for the fourth year running. In addition, the brand was awarded a top ten position in the accessories/customising category.

The results were officially announced at the Renitenz-theatre in Stuttgart, Germany on 17th March, where more than 240 well-known representatives of the motorcycle trade, industry and media gathered to honour the winners.

“We are extremely honoured that the TRW-Lucas brand has once again been recognised by the readers of MOTORRAD,” explained TRW´s Channel Marketing Manager Motorcycle, Ulf Haase.

“We have complete confidence in our product, and take great pride in the fact that motorcyclists make a conscious decision to purchase our products because they deliver on every level; maximum safety, reliable quality and the widest range.

“It’s with good reason that our philosophy is: Performance meets Safety," Ulf concluded.

With a circulation of approximately 135,000 copies and readership in excess of one million, German publication MOTORRAD is Europe's largest magazine for this target audience. Published biweekly by Motor Presse Stuttgart, MOTORRAD began polling its reader’s opinions on the many aspects of brand loyalty in 2006. Comprising 20 categories, this is the largest piece of research carried out across Europe for motorbikes and accessories.
