Advance notice of some Supplier driven price changes that will apply from January 1st 2013.

Knorr Bremse, Wabco, Haldex and Meritor have advised us that they intend to increase market pricing by 2% to 3% from January 1st and TTC’s prices for these products will follow suit accordingly. As you are aware it is not uncommon for the headline notification from these suppliers to differ to the weighted impact. We will provide you with all of the relevant part number and new price details as early as possible in December.

Finally, as you are aware, TTC has launched its 'Price Watch' programme and as a result of this focus there were some 3,000 price reductions in our October 1st review. From November 1st prices have also been reduced on 27 Jonesco Mudwings and an additional 2% discount has been applied across the whole LUK CV clutch range. You can see that there is a major focus in place within TTC to not only minimise price increases but to also deliver real cost down so that your CV Members can remain competitive by using TTC and, especially in these cost conscious times, the TTC Quality Alternative propositions. There are more exciting plans for our Quality Alternative range under development, including Air Brake Actuators and Valves, which will be launched to you in the very near future.
