NEW Unipart Braking Ranges

Unipart Autoparts are re-launching a range of Unipart Brake Pads and Discs, covering over 33 million Cars, Light Commercial Vehicles (up to 3.5 tonne) and Car Derived Vans in the UK.

Unipart Brake Discs and Brake Pad Sets are one of the most well known and respected Friction brands in the UK Aftermarket. Unipart Brake Pads & Brake Discs have been tested and developed to meet the requirements of the Original Equipment matching Quality standards. They are certified as such by the manufacturers, which mean they can be used within the vehicle warranty period without invalidating the vehicle manufacturer's warranty.

As Brakes are Safety Critical items, Unipart Engineers have spent countless hours ensuring that performance and consistency is guaranteed from the moment they are fitted to the car. Numerous important tests are carried out to ensure that all parts meet the high performance standards of today's modern braking systems. These tests include:
• Pre-Bedding ('Green') Performance
• Stopping distance at various speeds
• Fade & Fade Recovery
• Handbrake hill hold Tests
• Noise & comfort Levels
• Progressive Braking performance
These are all important tests which have been carried out on our range.

Unlike some other brands, Unipart Brake Pads sets also include all the necessary safety critical fittings that should be replaced during fitment.

Brake Discs are only sold in pairs, again for safety reasons, many of which are manufactured with 'High Carbon' material, to match Original Equipment. This type of brake disc material is typically used on high performance vehicles. Due to the higher dampening coefficient (sometimes referred to as dampening ratio) achieved by the use of the high carbon material, these Brake discs are specified by the car manufacturer, to give greater disc stability at high temperatures, with minimum vibration and noise.

NEW Unipart Filter Ranges

Alongside successful launch of Unipart Oil, we also have a range of Unipart Oil, Air, Fuel and Cabin Filters, with over 700 part numbers, covering over 33 million cars, car derived vans, and Light Commercial Vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes in the UK.

Engineered to match Original Equipment filter performance, Unipart Filters provide the highest possibly protection for the engine and cabin from harmful particulates.

UNIPART OIL FILTERS - are designed and manufactured to remove all foreign particulates in the Engine Oil, to prevent them being re-circulated back from the sump into the engine and scoring the bores, crankshafts & camshafts. This is achieved while maintaining

the correct oil flow back into the engine, and preventing "dry start" conditions which will cause premature engine wear.

UNIPART AIR FILTERS - are required to remove soot, dust, or other material from the air entering the engine, but in doing so maintain the correct air/ fuel mixture throughout their working lives. Failure in this area means poor combustion, and excess smoke, soot, and dangerous carbon monoxide entering the atmosphere and causing more pollution.

UNIPART FUEL FILTERS - As car manufacturers have moved to precision fuel injection systems working under extremely high pressure, the importance of the fuel filter has dramatically increased. Today's fuels can contain mineral dust, fuel container rust, water particles, and crystallized paraffin, all of which need to be removed to prevent failure of the fuel system.

UNIPART CABIN FILTERS - Cabin Filters filter the air sucked directly from the road into the car, and examination of a worn Cabin Filter is the best possible argument for how important they are. Thanks to the Cabin Filters with Active carbon, gases that are present in the air we breather in such as hydrocarbons, sulphur & nitrogen compounds, and odourless ozone are almost entirely eliminated throughout the filter's service life.
