success for Alliance Trading Group UK

The first ever Spring Conference for UAN was a huge success and attended by 44 UAN Affiliates. It took place in Alicante Spain Monday (6th - 9th May). This year's location was the Bercelo Asia Gardens and impressive five star resort, on the slopes of the Sierra Cortina mountains. The weekend was a good mixture of relaxation time and business activity starting with a welcome dinner on the Friday night. It was a busy Saturday morning where UAN Affiliates had one-to -one meetings with key UAN suppliers. After which there was an afternoon of leisure in Old Benidorm Town with the gala dinner that evening. Sunday morning Alliance Trading Group UK MD Steve Richardson presented to both GROUPAUTO and UAN Affiliates followed by an afternoon of leisure before the farewell dinner.

The planning and organising of this first joint Spring Conference was second to none, every detail had been considered to make sure it was a success for both Supplier and Affiliates. It is down to both the suppliers committing to supporting both Groups and the attendance of our members that made the conference the huge success that it was."

After the gala dinner a collection took place for Bob Ackroyd who commenced the Camino de Santiago challenge Friday 13th May. This is a walk across Northern Spain travelling 500 miles in just 28 days. It's something that Bob has been talking about doing for years and thought it was a great way of raising money for the charity Ben that does an incredible job for people and their families within the Automotive industry at their time of need.

A big 'Thank You' to the UAN Affiliates together with Alliance Trading Group suppliers and GROUPAUTO Affiliates who donated a fantastic £1,400.
