United Aftermarket Network Ltd (UAN) has conducted its very first training course as part of its new UAN Training & Education Programme, in partnership with industry training experts eXponentia

UAN Training & Education aims to include all sectors of the automotive aftermarket – suppliers, motor factors and garages – in the deployment of training so that each company within the UAN supply chain is equipped to embrace fully the increasingly complex vehicle parc.

The New Technologies one day training course provided by eXponentia’s Steve Carter, was fully attended by UAN distributors and took place on Wednesday 26 September at New Hall Hotel, in Sutton Coldfield.

The seminar style training brought UAN distributors up to speed with the technology present in modern cars and what steps they can take to assist garages fully with the service and repair of these vehicles.

UAN director, Andrew Dickinson, said: “The first UAN Training & Education course was a resounding success and demonstrates a strong desire from the group to take a more active role in the understanding of new vehicle technology and how to best support independent garages in this area.”

Details of further courses will be made available via the UAN website: www.unitedaftermarket.net
