Unipart Brand Catalogues on MAM Autocat

Unipart Autoparts are pleased to announce a significant improvement to the catalogue sections available for Unipart Brand Products in the MAM Autocat.

Since the re-launch of Unipart brand products by Unipart Autoparts, the MAM electronic catalogue has been displaying historic Unipart application data. However following the demise of the old Unipart systems, we have been developing a brand new & robust ‘back of house’ system called the ‘Unipart Product Management System’ - UPMS for short.

This development has meant the migration of all the Unipart Brand application data onto the new system. This has now been completed along with the MAM development required to allow this much improved data set to be used on to the MAM Autocat.

A significant feature of the improved data is that applications are matched closely to the vehicle registration number, and this results in only the correct parts being shown for any individual vehicles, thus reducing ‘choices’ and options, which in turns reduces the number of parts a factor has to send out to garages to ensure they receive right part for the vehicle.

The new ‘Unipart’ catalogue sections available on MAM Autocat from 11th June, contain those parts that are available from Unipart Autoparts in their new range. However they are fully aware that some customers (factors and/or garages) may still have Unipart Brand products, that were previously available, still in stock and so ‘Unipart Historic’ catalogue sections will also still be available for stockists and factors to use, if they so wish. These ‘Unipart Historic’ sections should be enabled by Autocat customers as they would any other brand catalogues they require. Any queries on this should be directed to the MAM Autocat helpdesk.

Obviously both the ‘Unipart’ & ‘Unipart Historic’ catalogue sections are also now available on KiS-on-line.
