Adam Morgan eager to impress at Rockingham

Adam Morgan is set to continue his fantastic form at the super-fast Rockingham Circuit in Northamptonshire this weekend (6/7 Sept), Round 8 of the British Touring Car Championship, the pinnacle of UK motorsport.

Morgan’s main target at Rockingham will be to secure yet another hat-trick of top ten finishes and hopefully get his WIX Racing Mercedes A Class onto the podium.

Adam has managed to finish within the top ten on the last ten consecutive occasions, an outstanding achievement for both him and the WIX Racing team in their first year with the brand new A Class. Adam’s consistency sees him currently 10th in the driver’s championship and 6th in the independent trophy.

Adam “I really like Rockingham and am really looking forward to this weekend. Qualification is again going to be key, it’s another track that we haven’t visited in the WIX Racing A Class so unfortunately have no data start point” He continued “I would like to qualify near the front and keep the car in the top ten for races one and two and then we may be able to profit from the grid draw for race three. Consistency and the collection of valuable race data has been our aim from the start this year”


The action at Rockingham gets underway on Saturday with two free practice sessions ahead of Qualifying at 15.40. The first of Sunday’s three races, all of which will be screened live on ITV, is at 11.30
