Graham Truckel hands over the baton to new Managing Director, Chris Adcock

After 35 years with ZF Services UK, Managing Director Graham Truckel, will be retiring on the 30th June. Chris Adcock has been appointed as his replacement following his return to the Company, after a period heading up the ZF Services Australian Company.

With experience working for both the services and aftermarket divisions of ZF Services UK, Graham has played an integral role in the evolution of the organisation over the years. In addition to the technical development of
our products and services, Graham has been responsible for overseeing a series of changes, including handling of the merger of the two parts of the organisation the sales and service division (formerly ZF Great Britain) and
the aftermarket sales business (ZF Trading UK) in 2011.

Chris has more than 20 years experience of working for ZF Services. Five years of which were spent in Australia as Managing Director of ZF Services Australia, where he was responsible for developing the Australasian business and as part of the Asia Pacific Leadership Team market development including China, South Korea, India and South East Asia. Chris’ experience overseas has provided him with a unique understanding of foreign markets, including the variances in business culture, geographical challenges and distribution and supply processes.

In his new UK role, Chris will look to realise ZF Services’ ambitions to accelerate growth in line with our business plan and Company strategy, aligning markets, customers and identifying new opportunities for expansion. His focus will also be on the emerging technologies looking to support new product development and exploring ways to enhance how we interact with customers’, while continuously improving our highly regarded and respected service the industry is accustomed to.

Graham explained: “ZF has developed significantly over the period of time I have been with the organization; in no small part due to the enormous amount invested in research and development, which has led to it becoming
recognized as a market leader in the sales, service and aftermarket support for driveline and chassis technology. I’m proud of a number of key achievements over the years, not only the successful merger of the sales and service aftermarket divisions, but also ZF being recognized as the principal transmission supplier for one of the UK’s most prestigious car manufacturers.”

Chris said: “After working for ZF for more than 20 years, it’s a real honour to be heading up the organization in the UK. The company is in a fantastic position thanks to great leadership over its 40 year tenure in the UK, and I will look to continue this work and identify new opportunities for growth in the years to come.
