Federal-Mogul ties up with Knorr-Bremse
Federal-Mogul has introduced a broad range of premium-quality Ferodo commercial vehicle brake pads equipped with Knorr-Bremse’s advanced ProTec S caliper spring technology.
These new brake pads, featuring springs pre-welded to the back plate, are available for a variety of truck and trailer applications in combination with Knorr SN7 calipers. Federal-Mogul friction product engineers worked closely with Knorr-Bremse and leading European commercial-vehicle OEMs to bring the benefits of ProTec S technology – including longer spring service life and quieter, safer and more efficient brake operation – to the Ferodo product line. We list the above part number for the rear of a Vauxhall , Opel Vectra (for which it is correct) and as a rear heavy duty spring for a Vauxhall ,Opel Zafira for which it is wrong.
