Centrally held marketing fund creates 20 websites





The new centrally held marketing fund has created more than 20 websites for distributors since it began in January 2009.

The central fund supported by 36 approved suppliers enables distributors to realise their marketing ambitions and requirements and communicate more effectively with garages on a number of levels.

Delphi breaks new ground with UAN distributors

Delphi has brought to a close a series of meetings with UAN distributors, which it hopes will continue to build on the growing relationship between the supplier and group.



More than 25 distributors attended the three events in either West Yorkshire, Basingstoke and at the company's headquarters in Warwickshire with a view to discussing in greater detail the improved agreement from the company to distributors and, its air-conditioning, vehicle electronics and diagnostics programmes.

Scrappage scheme extended



The Government today announced a £100M increase to the vehicle scrappage scheme to build on the success of the scheme in boosting consumer demand.







The Department for Business, Innovation and Skills  said that Industry figures have reflected the positive impacts of the scheme both within and beyond the automotive sector, with manufacturing benefiting and the whole supply chain, from plastics and steel, to individual component manufacturers receiving a boost.
